Welome to Registration Information
 

 On-Line Student Registration

2017-2018 Registration is currently unavailable, please check back.

We are utilizing the InfoSnap online student registration system to streamline the enrollment process for our families.  We have different access links for new students and returning students.  Please select the appropriate link.  Each returning student will need a snapcode.  This code will be provided by the student’s campus.

Public Computer (ie. school, library, etc.)  Includes auto logout feature after submission.  If the computer remains idle after you submit your forms, you will be prompted to stay logged in or to log out.  If there is no response, you will be automatically logged out after 15 seconds.

FOR ALL NEW REGISTRATIONS

To complete the registration process, parent(s) or legal guardian(s) must submit the child(ren)’s birth certificate, social security, and shot record. Only a parent or legal guardian of a child may register a child for school.  Parent/legal guardian identification is also required.

Pre-Kindergarten for 3-year-olds (PK-3)

To be eligible for the program, a child must turn 3 by September 1 of that school year, and meet at least one of the following criteria to attend free of charge:

1.  Unable to speak and comprehend the English language

2.  Qualify for free or reduced lunch

3.   Homeless, as defined by 42 U.S.C. Section 11302 in Senate Bill 1

The 3-Year-Old Program will be an educational preschool setting that is taught by Early Childhood certified teachers.

Children who do not qualify based on the above state guidelines may attend for a monthly fee.  This fee is based on the family’s annual income.

Pre-Kindergarten for 4-year-olds (PK-4)

To qualify for Pre-Kindergarten, a child must be:

1.  4 years old by September 1 of that school year

Children who meet at least one of the following criteria may attend free of charge:

1.  Unable to speak and comprehend the English language

Kindergarten

To qualify for Kindergarten, a child must be five (5) years old by September 1 of that school year.
 


Transfer Students

If your child lives outside of the Groesbeck ISD area and you would like your child to attend GISD, you may request a transfer.  Fill out the Transfer Application and Agreement and submit to the campus.


Court Orders or Decrees

If there is a court order or decree pertaining to your child, please provide a copy of the court order or decree to your child’s campus.  (The campus can make a copy from your original.)
