Substitute Classroom Training
Training is mandatory to sub in classroom.
Training is scheduled for August 27, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. to Noon. Check back for location. Should this training need to be rescheduled, new date will be posted on the website. (Applications for subbing in the classrom will be accepted and processed after July 31, 2015)

High School students who did not score at Level II on any STAAR test will be required to re-test until they pass the test. These are required for graduation by the State of Texas.

First Financial will be at the Administrative Office on July 23 for all staff that are needing to make changes to their benefits for the 2015-2016 school year.
Other dates they will be in the district:
August 12th - new teachers – we will also do a sign-up sheet
August 20th - all remaining staff needing to make changes to benefits
All visitors to the GISD campuses are required to check in at the front desk of the campus. You will need to show identification to receive a name badge. Visitors and Volunteers are required to wear these badges prominently to be easily identified. Persons not wearing a badge will be asked to return to the front office to check in. We thank you for your cooperation regarding student safety.
