Texas Health and Human Services encourages all Texans in need of COVID-19 information and referrals to community resources to call the 211 Texas hotline. 


Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website (CDC) has information regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19), how to protect yourself, older adults and COVID-19, cleaning and disinfecting your home, and more.


The Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) is working closely with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in monitoring the developing outbreak for the new coronavirus (2019-nCoV).  For more information regarding the 2019 Novel Coronavirus please visit the DSHS website


The World Health Organization website (WHO) has information regarding the Coronoavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, scam alert, advice for the public, and more.


The Texas.gov has information regarding the Coronavirus through Texas State Agency Resources and other helpful links.


School Meal Finder

In response to coronavirus, Governor Abbot, TEA, and the Texas Dept. of Agriculture have teamed up to launch a free meal finder so parents can access school lunches (and breakfasts) for their kids. Visit School Meal Finder website and select “Meal Pick-Up Locations” to find a school near you.


SNAP Recipes

SNAP recipes are healthy and thrifty.  They also have a short list of ingredients and are easy to make.  Most of all they taste good!  Visit USDA SNAP-Ed website.
