GISD is proud to announce that Nicole Dawley will join the staff at Groesbeck Middle School as Assistant Principal for the 2023-2024 school year! Congratulations Nicole Dawley.

Nicole Dawley is a native to Groesbeck and a proud graduate of Groesbeck High School. She attended Navarro Junior College and graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies.  She received her Master’s degree from Texas A & M University-Commerce.  With 24 years in education, Ms. Dawley began her teaching career with Mexia ISD where she spent five years teaching first and second grade. Then she moved to Groesbeck ISD where she served as a classroom teacher for 11 years.  She has also worked as an interventionist, diagnostician, dyslexia teacher, and Coordinator of Intervention Services. Ms. Dawley is excited to be at GMS. When asked about the transition, Ms. Dawley stated, “Great things are happening at GMS and I can not wait to be a part of it”.
