
We had 52 of our 126 future 9th graders from the Class of 2028 come to our 8th Grade Parent Meeting last night (2/13/24)! It was awesome to see everyone and we look forward to seeing you on campus in the summer for Freshman Orientation!

To become a Substitute Teacher for Groesbeck ISD, you must:
Attend a scheduled Substitute Teacher Training; submit a Substitute Application online; be fingerprinted through TEA/SBEC; complete all required new hire paperwork and submit all the necessary documents.

Each February we celebrate and honor the history and contributions of Black Americans. This allows us to highlight the achievements, struggles, perspectives, and experiences of Black Americans throughout 400 years of American History. Additionally, Holocaust Remembrance Week is January 22–26, 2024.

GISD will be on "Regular Schedule" for Wednesday, Jan. 17th. This was determined after reviewing road conditions, school infrastructure, and conditions of our buses.
Please allow extra travel time in the morning, as temperatures remain below freezing.

Due to unsafe travel on many of our back roads, GISD will be closed Tuesday, Jan. 16th. All school events for Tuesday, including practices and games are also cancelled/postponed.
