Today's the day! Groesbeck ISD's Job Fair, March 11, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm in the GISD Administrative Offices, located at 1202 N. Ellis (inside the high school).

Although GISD originally planned on having school on April 8th, following recent guidance from local emergency authorities, we now have decided to have school on April 1st and be closed on April 8th.

This morning we had a breakfast appreciation for our maintenance, cafeteria, custodial, and grounds crews for all of their hard work and for making this a great district.

March 1st is Maintenance Worker Appreciation Day, an opportunity to thank the dedicated Groesbeck ISD employees who keep our schools, libraries, gymnasiums and offices open.

Groesbeck ISD was notified today that MySchoolBucks, our online payment portal for cafeteria payments, will increase the processing fee to $3.25 for all cafeteria credit/debit card prepayments beginning March 7th due to rising payment processing interchange fees and operational costs. We had 52 of our 126 future 9th graders from the Class of 2028 come to our 8th Grade Parent Meeting last night (2/13/24)! It was awesome to see everyone and we look forward to seeing you on campus in the summer for Freshman Orientation!

Our 8th grade (incoming freshman) parent meeting is scheduled for February 13th at 6PM in the GHS Auditorium. The purpose of this meeting is to share information and to help prepare your 8th grader for Freshman year in high school! Call Dr. Bomar with questions! See you then!

To become a Substitute Teacher for Groesbeck ISD, you must:
Attend a scheduled Substitute Teacher Training; submit a Substitute Application online; be fingerprinted through TEA/SBEC; complete all required new hire paperwork and submit all the necessary documents.
