We want our morning car line to be safe, smooth, and efficient for everyone! Please take a moment to watch this quick video showing exactly how our car line procedures should look each morning.

A few important reminders:
🚙 Please stay in your vehicle while in the car line.
➡️ Pull forward and fill all available space between vehicles.
🤝 When lanes come together, merge like a zipper—one car from each lane taking turns.
⏰ Please remember that school begins at 7:55 AM. Students arriving after car line staff have gone inside will need to be dropped off at the front office.

Our 2nd graders have been busy making learning come to life! 📏 In Math, students are exploring measurement and building their skills through hands-on learning.
In Reading, students are diving into the fascinating world of Greek mythology and ancient Greek culture! 🏛️ They even had a special real-world connection when a Groesbeck High School student shared his discus with them and talked about discus throwing—a tradition that dates all the way back to ancient Greece! 🥏
We love seeing our Goats make connections across subjects and discover that learning goes far beyond the pages of a book! ❤️🐐

Another busy and FUN week for Rugby at HOW! 🐐❤️ Rugby spent his week alongside Mr. Robertson in our Choose Love classes, helping our Goats learn about courage, gratitude, forgiveness, and compassion.
But you know Rugby… it can’t be all work! 😂🐾 He made plenty of time for fun, including a pretty fabulous photo with Mrs. O’Bryant and a glasses filter. 🤓📸 We’re not sure who wore the glasses better!
Lots of learning, lots of love, and lots of fun—just the way Rugby likes it! ❤️🐾

This morning gave us the perfect opportunity to appreciate one of our newest improvements at H.O. Whitehurst! Thanks to our bond improvements, our new car line cover is officially doing its job! 🙌
Our students and staff were able to unload safely and stay DRY while the rain came down. Seeing everyone tucked underneath that cover this morning made us extra thankful for the investment being made in our school and our students.
