So much fun today at conference with the amazing staff at H.O.W. We love celebrating our teachers during this week of teacher appreciation and this was such a cool way to do it! "Hats off to H.O.W!"

Welcome another GOAT to the family! Go GOATS!

Please join us to celebrate our Pre-K students! Thursday, May 22nd at 9:30, parents are welcome.

You're the heartbeat of our schools, putting on band-aids, stopping bloody noses, holding ice packs, taking temperatures, checking for head lice, our very own stomachache expert, and so much more. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

To our incredible teachers — THANK YOU. 💐 Your passion, patience, and dedication shape not just minds but lives. Whether you're teaching in a classroom or supporting from behind the scenes, your impact is immeasurable.

Due to the severe storms in the area, Groesbeck ISD will dismiss students today at 2:30 p.m. This decision was made to ensure the safety of students, staff, and bus drivers. The storm is predicted to disrupt bus routes, causing delays and potential hazards. Please make arrangements to pick up your child if needed. Buses will run their routes starting at 2:30 p.m.

PK Field Day was a blast!!! These kids have grown so much and we can't wait to see them in kindergarten next year! Stay tuned for awards and the announcement of class winner soon! We wonder which class will get the sought after class trophy this year?!? 🏆

🎉 To our incredible principals, who work tirelessly from early mornings to late nights to create safe, supportive, and inspiring environments where students and teachers can thrive. Thank you for being role models, problem-solvers, and champions of education. 👏

Thank you to our cafeteria workers for the hard work and dedication in preparing meals for students and staff. Your efforts are genuinely appreciated, and we’re grateful for the care you put into ensuring that everyone is fed great meals every day.

We had a Masked Singer contest this year at H.O.W. and it turned out great!! Thank you to everyone that participated and the amazing people behind the scenes to pull it off.
I filmed 16 staff members who hid their faces with animojis and sang a clip of a song. Each week I played 4 random videos, had them vote and announced the weekly winner on Friday.
Today our 4 winners from the last 4 weeks came together to battle it out on stage. We were not dressed as our animojis but the final 4 were Shark ( Crocodile)- Mrs. Coalston, Dinosaur (Rooster)- Miss McClosky, Koala (T-Rex)- Mrs. Aguilar and Alien (Zebra)- Mrs. Rodriguez.
The WINNER was KOALA by the shrieks coming from the kids!!! CONGRATULATIONS!
A highlight video will be in the comments.
-Mrs. Rodriguez

5th 6 weeks attendance winners were drawn today and these lucky kids won! Congratulations. We are so happy that you love coming to school!

This past week we were able to celebrate one of the hardest working, most passionate educators that H.O.W. has been lucky enough to have. Mrs. Mathis will be retiring and taking on grandma duties next year. We wish her the best and hope she knows how much she will be missed!

First grade field trip was a huge hit! So glad we got to have our Friday Funday with these amazing kiddos!

GHS Athletic Banquet on May 8 at 6 pm at the Groesbeck Convention Center. Tickets are on sale now. Must have a ticket to enter. Go GOATS! 🐐

Thanks to the Ladies who keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Whether it’s managing schedules, answering the phone, juggling priorities, or simply bringing positivity into the workplace, you do it with grace and excellence.

H.O.W. students are GROWING! Our bright little goats are learning through planting and are so excited with their progress. We can't wait until they can bring their special project home for a big surprise!

🚌💛 Shoutout to Our Amazing Transportation Department! 💛🚌
Thanks to the incredible transportation department, which makes it possible for our kids to get where they need to go. 🚍👏

Recognizing those who make a difference in the ACE Program at Groesbeck ISD.

1st-3rd grade students all competed in a creative writing contest. Today their hard work was celebrated and Groesbeck McDonalds donated a cookie to each student, and the winners were announced. Way to go H.O.W. and thank you to Ms. Davis with CIS for organizing this fun event!

Welcome back to the GOAT family! Go GOATS!
