During National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we honor the absolute courage of the tens of thousands of children who fight cancer every day and all of the loved ones who support them.
Way to go 1st and 2nd graders! We're thrilled to announce that BOTH grade levels have achieved attendance rates over 96%! Wishing all students and their families a wonderful Labor Day holiday; we look forward to seeing everyone back on Tuesday.
H.O. Whitehurst will be following the Groesbeck ISD spirit weeks for the 2023-24 football season, including the week of homecoming! Homecoming mums will be allowed on Friday September 15th, just please tape any bells or noise makers that your mum has!

A few cafeteria reminders: If you qualified for free/reduced lunch last year you still do until Sept. 27. Everyone must fill out a new lunch form every year to qualify.
We like to move it, move it! PE at H.O.W. is LEVELING UP! The dice decides the exercise and the kids love the challenge. Way to get our kiddos excited to exercise! #LevelUp
GISD Child Nutrition announces 2023-24 Student Meal Prices and a reminder to sign up to pay for your child's school meals online at MySchoolBucks.com. We also ask that you complete and return the Free and Reduced Meal form that is on yellow paper.
