Mileage Club at H.O. Whitehurst is a favorite for many of our 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders! They love to see their shoe move as they complete more miles. We have a whole group that have already run 10 miles this year at school! Way to go!

December is quickly approaching, and we are looking to make this December one to remember! Starting next week we will have a daily theme. We are excited to see the kids dressed up each day!
The Great Kindergarten Feast! Students gathered and drew what they hoped to have on their table for Thanksgiving. Lots of students are excited about the turkey!
2nd grade pie tasting. Students sampled all types of pies and voted on which one was their favorite! If you see a 2nd grader ask them which our their class thought was the best.
3rd grade students are studying folk tales in reading and have read three versions of the folk tale Stone Soup. Today they made their own stone soup and homemade butter for their rolls! What a delicious treat to go along with fun learning!
