GISD is offering its Substitute Classroom Training on November 7th from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the GISD Board Room, 1202 N. Ellis St. To substitute in the classroom, you must attend training. If you attended a GISD Substitute Training, you do not need to attend again.

This morning, a fog machine was activated inside the high school gym, leading to a response from the fire department.
The school’s structure is unaffected, and the fog is currently being cleared.
A full investigation will be conducted to identify the individual who entered the building.

We can't wait for our first Trunk or Treat on October 31, 2024, from 6 PM to 8 PM. This is a community event that everyone is welcome to attend. If you would like to donate an unopened bag of candy you may send it with your child or bring it to the school. If you know of a local business or organization that would like to participate please share this information!
