4th grade students went to Limestone County Ag Day at Limestone County Fairgrounds. They learned where food comes from, saw live animals and learned how they are used in agriculture, as well as plants, equipment, things we use daily that are from farmers, and met game wardens.

4th, 5th, and 6th grade GT students are learning about earthquakes. They watched real world scenarios, researched questions, and wrote their findings. Students created a visual working model of a seismograph and earthquake. Next week they will design earthquake-proof structures.

Our Coffee w/ Admin series will continue next Tuesday, Sept. 12th at 8am at the Red Goat Cafe.
**Opportunity to get a sneak preview of the Red Goat Cafe and to meet for an informal round table meeting with admin to discuss topics, including the Nov. election for the TRE.

EWIS grandparents are invited to have lunch with their grandchild on Tuesday, 9/12. Grandparents will need to be on their grandchild's emergency contact list and will need to show their ID to enter the building. If a grandparent is not on the emergency contact list, a hand-written note from the parent will need to be sent granting permission for them to have lunch with their grandchild. One friend of their grandchild may join them for lunch, but they may only bring food to school for their grandchild. Thank you for adhering to these safety matters. We look forward to many grandparents joining us on Tuesday.
