Students have shown interest in our Lunch "Clean Up Crew." Students who sing up will help daily/weekly facilitate clean up during their grade level lunch. Jobs would include wiping tables, greeting students, running an errand for staff (if needed), and leading their line back to class. Enge-Washington Intermediate Assistant Principal: Julie Biezenski
Julie Biezenski is entering her 20th year in education. She has served students from PreK through 12th grade. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Mary-Hardin Baylor in 2004 and her Master of Education in Administration degree from Lamar University in 2016. Mrs. Biezenski has served students within Waco ISD, Midway ISD, Connally ISD, Fairfield ISD & Robinson ISD in various roles, including assistant principal, district Special Education specialist, transition specialist, English teacher, Special Education teacher, and sports coach in basketball, volleyball, track, & cross country. Julie and her husband, Brian (Groesbeck ISD Alumni- Class of 1992), have been married for 16 years and have three children, Brinlee, 14; Brooklyn, 11; and JB, 5, who are ALL excited to attend GISD schools.

Enge-Washington Intermediate Principal: Lora Sims
Lora Sims is entering her 21st year in education and has served students from Pre-K through 12th grade. She received her Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M Commerce in 2004 and her Masters of Education in Administration degree from the University of Texas Arlington in 2014. Ms. Sims (known as Ms. Edgemon while at GHS) has worked in Dallas ISD, Palestine ISD, Groesbeck ISD, Midway ISD, and Conroe ISD. She has served as a classroom teacher for 12 years, Assistant Principal for the past eight years, and assumed the role of Summer School Principal for the past two years. She has three grown children and three young grandchildren. Ms. Sims is excited to return to Groesbeck ISD, where she will serve the students, staff, and parents as the new Enge-Washington Principal! Once a Goat, always a Goat!!

GIRLS SUMMER Strength & Conditioning - June 3-6 & June 10-13 for incoming 7th-12th Grade Girls: The first two weeks will look as such. Make sure you are present and coming to work. We will not wear jewelry to workouts. We will be on time, and we will get better. 8-9 AM: weight room 9-10 AM: basketball skills and softball skills. If you are basketball you will go to basketball and do skill work If you are softball you will go and work softball. You may bring your glove and bats to work cages and field. She will supply helmets. Summary: June 3-6 & June 10-13. Weights and basketball/ softball skill development After this two week stretch we will switch skill development to volleyball and alternate others.
