Today we celebrate our incredible leader, Ms. Sims, for Principal Appreciation! 🐆💛 From staff wearing Lora shirts, to a school wide fun cheetah dress-up to student songs and heartfelt messages all day long, our campus showed just how loved and appreciated she is—with so many thoughtful gifts and an outpouring of gratitude. She leads by empowering those around her, always taking the time to listen and advocate for her staff. Her student-centered mindset drives every decision she makes, and she works tirelessly to create a positive, uplifting campus culture each and every day. Most importantly, she puts her whole heart into leading by example. We are so grateful for her dedication, passion, and the difference she makes in all of our lives. Come and enjoy carefully planned academic support, and fun, fairy tale themed enrichments led by joyful and dedicated teachers! GISD Transportation Department enjoyed a wonderful breakfast this morning with bacon, biscuits, and all the fixings!
Wheels on the bus go round and round... because of these awesome GISD Transportation Department employees, from keeping the buses in working order to transporting our kids to and from school. Our buses and white fleet cover 528 square miles, and we appreciate the extra mile each of you goes to make this district great.
Buses may be delayed due to the road construction at the intersection of Hwy 164 and Hwy 14. Thank you for your patience.
