1. Search “Groesbeck ISD” in your phone’s app store and download the app
2. Select “ALLOW” when prompted on initial download to ensure you receive notifications
3. Open the app, and navigate to the bottom button “MENU”. Then tap “SETTINGS”
4. Go to “PUSH NOTIFICATIONS” and select the ISD and any of the other options (HS, MS, Enge-W, HOW, MS Athletics, HS Athletics)

OPTING OUT: To opt out, send the message "STOP" to 98900

OPTING BACK IN: To opt back in, send the message "START" to 98900

Here are a few things that are on the app:

NOTIFICATIONS: Special push notification system. This is great for grandparents, other family members, and community members who are not set up in the school registration system. When there are special events, cancellations, or delays, the ALERTS push notification system will allow communication with anyone with the GISD MOBILE APP.

FEED: Posts from the District and Campuses Live Feed posts.

EVENTS: List of events on the calendar

BREAKFAST & LUNCH MENUS: Click on the “MENU” button and then the “DINING” tab.

District Website Posts

LIVE FEED: Provides announcements about events, school closures, staff or student recognitions, alerts, etc. Live Feed can be found on the front page of the district and the campuses' websites. It is the same posts as FACEBOOK or X, just without the need to “log in”.

EVENTS (Calendar): The District and each campus have their own calendars. Click on the specific campus to view the events scheduled for that week on their campus. The District calendar will display major events, while the campus calendar will showcase campus-specific events.
