Congratulations to Micah Anderson for qualifying for the Association of Texas Small School Bands All-State Band! Micah placed 2nd out of 20 Area-qualified French Horn players to claim a chair in the All-State Band. All-state band members will rehearse February 12-14 and present a concert on Saturday, February 15th, at the Texas Music Educators Association conference in San Antonio.
The Groesbeck Study Club will be hosting their Academic Blanket Ceremony on January 23rd at 6:00 p.m. in the GHS Auditorium. Please come and join us in celerating the academic success of our students.
There will be an Dual Credit meeting on February 13th at 5:30 pm. in the GHS auditorium. Our Navarro liaison Melody Humphries will be here to present and answer any questions you may have about the dual credit program.
We are hosting an 8th Grade Parent Meeting on Thursday, January 30th at 5:30 p.m. in the GHS Auditorium to review all things High School! We will cover course selections, PGPs, dress code, and many other topics. Please make plans to attend.
It was 🥶 cold but the GHS Student Council did not let that bother them! They always enjoy giving back to the community with the Central Texas Food Bank and Word of Life Family Worship Center!

Mylie Ladd placed 1st in the breakaway roping.
Faith McGrew placed 3rd and 6th in the pole bending.

SCHEDULE UPDATE: unfortunately Troy has decided to cancel tomorrow's game due to the amount of injuries and illnesses they have. So there will be no game tomorrow, but players will have practice at 11:00 am. We apologize for any inconvenience, but thank you for your understanding as this was out of our control.
Happy Holidays from your 2024-25 Goat Basketball Teams. The Varsity Squad will be back in action tomorrow afternoon at home versus Leon. Game time is 12 Noon. It was brought to my attention that there was a different time out there, but the game is scheduled for Noon. We hope Santa was good to you and look forward to seeing as many of you as possible!!!

GHS Students and Mrs. Eubanks volunteered with Wreaths Across America today at New Hope Cemetery in Jewett and LaSalle Cemetery in Groesbeck to lay wreaths on the veterans tombstones.

Athletes free anyone else is $15. All tickets can be purchased from Mrs Bush at the high School. Cash or Venmo.
Anyone walking in the door must have a ticket or you will be turned away.
HEADS UP!!! High School Boys Basketball Pictures will take place Monday, December, 16th. We will take them during 5th Period Athletics. Order forms will be sent home with your student athlete tomorrow. I will also be posting the form tomorrow when they get sent to me. Junior High Pictures are scheduled for Jan 10.
The Marines were on campus today with a pull up challenge. We had many students rise to the challenge!
