GHS Schedule Pickup

We are excited to welcome our incoming freshmen and Fish Camp will still take place as planned!
Due to the ongoing construction and final campus preparations, there are just a few changes to the evening:
Freshmen will enter through the Varsity Gym doors.
Instead of walking the campus, students will participate in small breakout sessions where they will have the opportunity to ask questions, learn about campus expectations, and receive important information to help them prepare for their first day at GHS
Student organizations and clubs will be in the front area of the Varsity Gym to introduce themselves and share information with incoming students.
We appreciate everyone's flexibility. We look forward to welcoming the Class of 2030 to the Goat family!
Due to the ongoing construction and final preparations taking place on our campus, we have made the decision not to have students walk their schedules or visit classrooms during Schedule Pick-Up tomorrow. Our custodial and construction crews are working hard to ensure the building is clean, safe, and ready for the first day of school. We appreciate your patience as they complete the final touches. Students may still pick up their schedules during their designated time, and campus staff will be available in the front office and common areas to answer questions and assist students as needed. We look forward to welcoming everyone back very soon and appreciate your understanding as we prepare for a great school year!

Today was a great kickoff to the 2026–2027 school year as we welcomed our teachers and staff back!
Thank you to Centex Citizens Credit Union and Educators Credit Union for treating our staff to breakfast, former Groesbeck Goat Matthew Barnes for sharing an inspiring message, and First Baptist Church of Groesbeck for providing a delicious lunch. We are thankful for the incredible support of our community partners as we begin another great school year.
