Kids Kare Academy Earns Texas Rising Star Accreditation! ⭐⭐⭐⭐
GISD is absolutely thrilled to announce that Kids Kare Academy has been awarded the prestigious Texas Rising Star Accreditation! This is a monumental achievement that recognizes Ms. McGruder and her staff’s commitment to providing the highest quality early childhood education environment. The Texas Rising Star program is a voluntary, quality-based child care rating system that acknowledges providers who go above and beyond minimum state licensing requirements.

📢 Important Update for Parents: New Consent Requirements (Senate Bill 12)
Under the new Texas Law, Senate Bill 12 requires parents and guardians to give written consent each year before the schools can:
Provide selective health services through the school nurse
Provide mental health-related (counseling) services
Allow your child to join school-based clubs or organizations
👉 Verbal permission is no longer accepted.
