The GHS Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) will be hosting their annual "See You at the Pole" gathering tomorrow, Wednesday, September 27 at 7:00AM in front of Groesbeck High School. Please come join us!

College Night is this Thursday, September 29th from 5 to 7 p.m. at GHS. This event is for both parents and high school students to come and speak with representatives from both community and state colleges, trade schools, and the different branches of the military. Come and join us for an evening to learn about the opportunities for your future. We look forward to seeing you there!

Parent University is this Wednesday from 6:15-7:15 at the H.O. Whitehurst Theater. Please join us for a presentation on Digital Safety by Region 12's Jeni Janek. This session is such an important one, particularly for our middle and high school parents. Come and hear about the latest information on how to protect your child online and how to help them develop a healthy and safe digital footprint.

Groesbeck ISD is proud to announce the Grand Opening of the Red Goat Cafe! Tuesday, September 19th, from 8:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. at 701 S. Ellis (previously the Culinary Arts Building). #StaffLeadStudentRun Go GOATS!

GISD will be working on a GISD-community night to highlight and celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. Ideas include celebrating and participating in hispanic dances, hosting a pot-luck dinner, and participating in cultural activities. Stay tuned for more information.

In conjunction with the City of Groesbeck (Chief Henson, City Administrator and the Groesbeck Fire Department) we have postponed the Homecoming bonfire until a later date due to the dry conditions of our area. The GHS administration met with the elected Class Officers of the Senior Class of 2024 to make sure they understood the situation and they agreed regarding the risk. More information about a later bonfire date is forthcoming.
