Today's pep rally at GHS has been rescheduled to 2:12 - 2:35 PM. 8th period will now run from 2:39 - 3:25 PM. This change is due to the Lady Goat Volleyball team departing at 3:00 for their game against Fairfield.

GISD and GHS are celebrating Spanish Heritage Month with its Second Annual Spanish Heritage Celebration.

** ATTENITION GOAT FANS!! **
Tomorrow, Friday, the Lady Goats Volleyball Team will be traveling to Fairfield to continue district play. Fairfield has put in some new safety policies and I want you to be prepared for the changes. Please see the attached flyer from Fairfield's Superintendent.
A few highlights:
1. Metal detectors have been placed in their facilities. The detectors have been recalibrated and are very sensitive. They may go off because of key fabs and air pods. If they do go off you will be subject to a search of pockets and bags.
2. All bags carried into the facility MUST be CLEAR, except for small clutch bags. The size can be found in the flyer.
3. Gate and Concession will be CASH only.
Please respect the Fairfield policies as they are taking measures to protect athletes, coaches, fans and spectators. Should you have any questions please feel free to reach out to Coach Kelly Grady @ k.grady@groesbeckisd.net.
See you there!
