
Today two GHS students were honored at the DAR chapter meeting for their incredible character and amazing writing skills. Constanza Alvarado was chosen as the chapter’s Good Citizen of the year. Brianna Latray’s essay was also selected as the winner of the Patriot of the American Revolution Essay Contest. Congratulations girls. We are so proud of you both!






SCHEDULE UPDATE: Due to injuries and illnesses for both teams, there will only be one game tonight in Elkhart. It will be a varsity game starting at 6:00 pm. We hope to see as many of you as possible one more time as we play our last game of the 2024-25 season. Thank you for understanding and your continued support as we look to end the season on a high note.

A huge thank you to the Groesbeck FFA Floral Program at GHS for creating the beautiful floral centerpieces for the Groesbeck Chamber Awards Banquet this Thursday! Your hard work is adding the perfect touch to their event!

GHS Student Council is spreading love! We will pre-sell flower gram orders starting Monday, February 10th - Thursday February 13th while supplies last, during both lunches. Flower grams will be delivered to 3rd period classes on Friday, February 14th.


SCHEDULE UPDATE: There has been a high school boys basketball game added for tomorrow (02/04). There will be one game at home at 6:00 p.m. vs. Axtell. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow night, as we play one more time on our home floor. Thank you for all your support this season!

Students visited Cross Creek Meadows Therapeutic Riding and Retreat Center and it was nothing but amazing! The smiles from everyone says it all. They are doing amazing things! If you find it in your heart to help or volunteer, reach out!! They are so deserving! ❤️











GHS is hosting a Blood Drive on February 26 in the GHS Band Hall, on the GHS Stage, and in the Carter BloodCare Bus. Let's gooo... Goats!



BASKETBALL SCHEDULE UPDATE: Tomorrow night's games will be Varsity only. Varsity Girls will start the night at 6:00 pm, followed by the Varsity Boys. We look forward to seeing you as we also celebrate our Seniors.


Tonight's Eighth Grade Information Parent Meeting has been canceled. We will provide notice of the new date and time once it has been rescheduled.


We had eighth grade on campus taking a tour of all the Programs of Study that are going on at GHS. Our students did a great job representing their programs and getting our incoming freshman excited about things to come next year!
