ACE Program at Groesbeck ISD
The ACE Program, After School Centers on Education, is entering in its fifth year of programming for Groesbeck ISD. Students K-6 who are recommended by faculty, administration, and the site coordinator, based on academic need, may be enrolled into Groesbeck ACE Afterschool. However, all students will be allowed to attend the ACE breakfast club Monday-Friday morning.
The ACE Program provides academic and enrichment classes for all students conducted by Highly Qualified teachers and paraprofessionals. A portion of the afterschool program is devoted to mastering school-day concepts and working on homework assignments. The ACE Program also provides special enrichment classes, such as cooking classes, sports, technology, drama, choir, archery, scrapbooking, dance, recycling, and many other classes. These classes will be held Monday through Thursday from 3:35 – 6:00.
The ACE Program operates Monday – Thursday, from 3:35 – 6:00. Bus transportation is provided to most home addresses. Students are required to attend a minimum of 45 days within the school year. For information, contact Tracy Killingsworth at the Enge Washington campus.
