Bake Sale for Hope 💪
This bake sale is dedicated to supporting Ryen, a strong and courageous teenager, who is currently hospitalized. Together, we can help ease the financial burden and surround this family with love, prayers, and encouragement. 100% of proceeds go to support the family with any needs they have while staying strong and supporting Ryen as he fights for his life. The bake sale will be Saturday January 3rd at 8:00 a.m. in front of the Family Dollar in Groesbeck. Any donation would be greatly appreciated!
Accountability Rating Update: TEA has granted our appeal for the 2024–25 TEA Accountability Rating, and GISD’s score has been updated! The District rating is now a C, and the high school score increased from 70 to 79.
We want to send a huge thank you to Coach Coffey, Coach Nemons, Coach Keeton and their athletes for visiting Enge Intermediate this week!
Our students were inspired by their encouragement and their message about the importance of strong grades, good attendance, and positive behavior. Seeing our older students lead by example made a powerful impact and showed our Goats what is possible when you work hard and stay committed.

Groesbeck vs. Elkhart - There will not be a JV Girls game. The schedule will be as follows: JV Boys at 5:00 pm, Varsity Girls at 6:15 pm, and Varsity Boys at 7:30 pm. Come out and show your support! Go GOATS!

GISD is absolutely thrilled to announce that Kids Kare Academy has been awarded the prestigious Texas Rising Star Accreditation! This is a monumental achievement that recognizes Ms. McGruder and her staff’s commitment to providing the highest quality early childhood education environment. The Texas Rising Star program is a voluntary, quality-based child care rating system that acknowledges providers who go above and beyond minimum state licensing requirements.
