PER Mrs. Flusche: Night of Percussion: The 6th, 7th, 8th, & HS percussion students will be presenting their annual percussion concert on April 18, 2024 at 7pm at the GHS Auditorium.
The Area Track Meet has been moved to Friday April 12th, 2024. Boys and Girls will be traveling to McGregor to run in the Area meet. The itinerary will be posted for a field events and running events. Thank you for your time! Come support our athletes as they try to qualify for Regionals!! Go Goats!!

REMINDER: Monday, April 8th, is a Student Holiday (No School). GISD students will receive a pair of solar lenses to take home. An informational sheet will be given as well. Please be safe during this solar eclipse.
Superintendent Food Council tasting round 4...What an amazing experience. We are all excited to see how our menu will change here at GISD next year!
Some memebers of the Superintendent Food Council are visiting Athens ISD. We are sampling food items from different districts who use 3rd party providers who may be bidding on our FSMC contract.
Thank you for everybody who came out to support Parent University. Great pizza and great fellowship. There are so many great ways for parents to be involved, including PTO, AG boosters, athletic boosters, band boosters, and more.

Mark your calendar for the next Parent University this Wednesday, March 27th at 6:15 at the H.O. Whitehurst theater. The topic of this session will be Parent Involvement: How to get invovled in your child's education. Join us and learn about opportunities with the PTO and booster organizations, as well as how to be in the "know" about upcoming events and activities, as well as your students grades. Pizza will be served, so please come munch and learn!
