Congratulations GHS Student Council! We collected 114 pints of blood and helped over 340 people who needed blood products.
College Night is this Thursday, September 28th from 5 to 7 p.m. at GHS. This event is for both parents and high school students to come and speak with representatives from both community and state colleges, trade schools, and the different branches of the military. Come and join us for an evening to learn about the opportunities for your future. We look forward to seeing you there!

Tomorrow, LifeTouch will be here taking both 9-11 picture retakes AND Senior picture retakes. I have attached the schedule for tomorrow. If your child has a conflict with their time (sports/FFA/etc.) have them contact me ASAP for a new time.

All picture retakes, including seniors who missed the summer date will be on Wednesday, September 27, 2023. Order forms for seniors are attached. A picture day schedule will be released on Thursday or Friday of this week for both seniors and underclassmen.
Be sure to set your DVR to record from 4:30am-7am tomorrow morning. Ally Kadlubar from Channel 10's Morning News will be at the Red Goat Cafe to meet with us before our GRAND OPENING at 8:15am.

Parent University is this Wednesday from 6:15-7:15 at the H.O. Whitehurst Theater. Please join us for a presentation on Digital Safety by Region 12's Jeni Janek. This session is such an important one, particularly for our middle and high school parents. Come and hear about the latest information on how to protect your child online and how to help them develop a healthy and safe digital footprint.

Groesbeck ISD is proud to announce the Grand Opening of the Red Goat Cafe! Tuesday, September 19th, from 8:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. at 701 S. Ellis (previously the Culinary Arts Building). #StaffLeadStudentRun
GISD will be working on a GISD-community night to highlight and celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. Ideas include celebrating and participating in hispanic dances, hosting a pot-luck dinner, and participating in cultural activities. Stay tuned for more information.
