The new teacher recognition program, initiated by our Superintendent, Mr. Anthony Figueroa, is off to an amazing start! Congratulations to our August Teacher of the Month, Mrs. Jill Flatt! Her colleagues said she was "dedicated, smiles at them when they walk in, celebrates them often, holds them accountable in a loving way, is creative, fun and enjoys her work very much! She is a teacher leader-an exemplar for others and understands the value of our work."
Each month the campus will get an opportunity to recognize those educators that are going above and beyond in their daily practice to grow, inspire and make our students the best versions of themselves they can possibly be. The monthly winners will receive a $25 Amazon gift card along with a few other special recognition items to thank them for going the extra mile. This accolade will also automatically qualify them for the Teacher of the Year kudos in May.
