Groesbeck High School

The Groesbeck versus Crockett Homecoming match up solidified our very own Head Coach and Athletic Director, Jerry Bomar's place in the record books of Texas High School Football! He is number 6th on the list out of high school football coaches for 280 wins! Winning the 3A State Championship (there was not a division 1 or 2  at that time) in 1991 with his Groesbeck team is one of his many accolades and returning to a town he loves has been a great way to  enjoy this time in his career. He has truly enjoyed working with Coach Eric Turrubiarte,  his Varsity Assistant Offensive Line Coach (also Head Powerlifting Coach,  8th grade Football Coach, and Varsity Track Assistant) that played on that State Championship team. Congratulations to our Groesbeck Goats and to Coach Bomar!
