Teachers used the new communication system to send out automated calls to parents this week. All who did were entered into a goat pillow drawing. Congrats to Mrs.Brightwell! Thank you to all of the teachers who sent a text or call to our awesome kiddos this week.

Date Change for GISD PARENT UNIVERSITY... CHANGE your calendar and JOIN us on August 24th. GISD has changed the date of the first GISD Parent University program due to a conflict with the Back to School Bash that First Baptist Church is hosting on August 23rd!

ASCENDER Student Data Rollover process will begin at 8am this morning. Please LOGOUT of all ASCENDER (Admin, Purchasing, Parent, and Student) portals at this time. I will send an message when the process is complete and you may resume working in ASCENDER. Thank you, Deann King
