Tomorrow, Friday, the Lady Goats Volleyball Team will be traveling to Fairfield to continue district play. Fairfield has put in some new safety policies and I want you to be prepared for the changes. Please see the attached flyer from Fairfield's Superintendent.
A few highlights:
1. Metal detectors have been placed in their facilities. The detectors have been recalibrated and are very sensitive. They may go off because of key fabs and air pods. If they do go off you will be subject to a search of pockets and bags.
2. All bags carried into the facility MUST be CLEAR, except for small clutch bags. The size can be found in the flyer.
3. Gate and Concession will be CASH only.

This morning, a fog machine was activated inside the high school gym, leading to a response from the fire department.
The school’s structure is unaffected, and the fog is currently being cleared.
A full investigation will be conducted to identify the individual who entered the building.

A special "shout out" to the parents and first responders who were at the peewee football practice for responding and clearing the high school gym earlier today. They walked into a gym full of smoke not knowing what to expect. Thank you!
